Anyone who has problems with lenders is encouraged to file a complaint with the bank’s federal regulator.

Senator Boxer’s website has a page helping to identify the appropriate regulator.

The following sites are also helpful in identifying the regulator:

·         Administrator of National Banks

·         FDIC

·         Some of the lending institutions may be regulated by state departments instead so use this site to find that information.
